Physxloader.dll is a dynamic link library, which is used by many games. The dll file is needed for loading the physX engines, which provide enhanced graphics effects like better camera angles. The dll file belongs to Ageia PhysX driver. The PhysX drivers are physics engines, which bring a realistic look to the game with better views. It is a non-system file. The file is found in the game installation folder or in Windows \ System32 folder.

Though the dll file is a non-system component, it is must not be deleted or damaged, other wise it can raise some bizarre errors. Like all other non-system dll files, physxloader.dll is a possible target for virus authors. Mostly physxloader.dll is infected by Trojans and to a lesser extent by worms.

Most of the problems arise when installing games. The errors are due to corruption, damage or deletion of the dynamic link library file. The installer raises an error message- This application has failed to start because PhysXloader.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem – if the system cannot find the dll file. This might be due to deletion or corruption of the file.

The problem can be easily solved by downloading the dynamic link library file online and installing it. If the problem still persists re install the application. You can find the file over internet but the possibility of downloading a corrupted or worse, an infected file is very high. Most non-system dll files are used by virus authors to propagate their virus.

Therefore, you must take that extra caution while downloading the file by verifying the version and file size.

The file can be downloaded from our top dll downloads post.

Not much information is available on other errors associated with this file.

Msxml3.dll is dynamic link library included in most of the Microsoft products. Msxml.dll is Microsoft XML parser. It is a critical non-system dll file, which is responsible for smooth functioning of Microsoft products. The file is a part of Microsoft products like Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft money, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office project server, Microsoft .NET framework, Encarta etc… MSXML is also updated when you install software updates for various Microsoft products.

Microsoft provides several different XML parsers. The System.xml parser and the System.XML.XmlReader XML parser are included with the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0. The MSXML parser is included in the Msxml.dll file, the Msxml2.dll file, the Msxml3.dll file, the Msxml4.dll file, the Msxml5.dll file, the Msxml6.dll file, and one or more resource files. In some versions of MSXML Windows HTTP Services (Winhttp*.dll) is also included.

The Microsoft XML parser is a Component Object Model (COM) implementation of the W3C DOM model. The XML parser actually parses the xml files and if the MSXML.dll file is absent, the system might throw up errors while loading XML files. Two versions are associated with each parser: the release version of the MSXML parser and the actual file version of the DLL that contains the parser.

Most of the errors associated with MSXML can be solved by registering the msxml.dll file in the registry. The errors can range from

dllregisterserver in msxml3.dll failed. Return code was 0×80004005.
Or

msxml3.dll error ‘80070005‘

For registering msxml.dll file, run following command: regsvr32 msxml3.dll from the run command. This registers the msxml.dll library with the registry and now the system can identify the file. If the problem persists, uninstall the Microsoft application and reinstall it. The msxml3.dll file is also available in Microsoft websites, you can download them online.

Lxcecnv4.dll is a dynamic link library found in the software package for Lexmark 4300 or Lexmark 6200 series printers. It is an important non system file. The file is mostly found in “program files \ Lexmark 4300 \” or “program files \ Lexmark 6200 \” or “program files \ dell photo aio printer 942 \” folders.

Although this file is not a critical system component, it can cause some bizarre errors if it is deleted accidentally or if it gets corrupted. The file is an important component of the printer software containing the library routines for printer functions. Therefore, any infection or corruption in this file can affect the functioning of the printer software. Either you can reinstall the printer software or you can find the file over internet if it is deleted or damaged, but the possibility of downloading a corrupted or an infected file is very high.

Most non-system dll files are used by virus authors to propagate their virus, so proper caution must be taken to check the file before downloading. The file size and the file version are good indicators for differentiating the infected files from normal ones. Viruses generally increase the file size (number of bytes) and they have different version numbers. Therefore, it is better to check the file size and version numbers before downloading.

Common Error Messages that are displayed:

“Lxcecnv4.dll file is missing”

Or

“Found corrupted Lxcecnv4.dll file”

After downloading the files from internet unzip the file and place the dll file in “Program Files \ Lexmark 4300 \“folder. The file can be downloaded from the following websites safely.

visit our top dll downloads post

If the problem still persists, reinstalling the printer software again is advised.

Oleacc.dll is the Active Accessibility Core Component available in Windows operating systems. It is used by Windows when using Active Accessibility products. It was developed by Microsoft and is utilized in Microsoft Windows systems. The dll is not listed as an essential system component, but special consideration should be taken before deleting or altering it.

The oleacc.dll file is included in Microsoft Active Accessibility and will be loaded when Active Accessibility is installed on your computer.

Errors associated with the oleacc.dll include a missing or damaged file.

“A Required dll Oleacc.dll Was Not Found”

The solution for this error is pretty easy. Just visit our top dll downloads post and download the file; then, install it in the appropriate folder, which may vary based on the version of Windows that you are using.

You can also install the Microsoft Active Accessibility package and that installation will load a copy of oleacc.dll that can then be accessed by any program.

“file not found – fxsapi.dll” and “fxaspi.dll – required file cannot be found” etc.

The above error and variations of it can result from the file being corrupt or the wrong version also not necessarily absent. Some other errors that may be displayed because of a corrupt file or file of a wrong version are

“cannot start oleacc.dll.DLL file. Check the oleacc.dll file to fix the problem.” and “A required dll, oleacc.dll was not found”

For these errors, you can follow the instructions above. Either install or reinstall Microsoft Active Accessibility package, which includes the oleacc.dll and will load it onto your computer and put it in its proper place so that it and other programs can access it when they need to, or you can visit our top dll downloads post and download the oleacc.dll file. Then you will install the file in the appropriate directory depending on the version of Windows that you are using. Generally, you will place it with the other dll’s in the \system32\ for most current versions of Windows.

Osetup.dll is an essential system component of the Microsoft Office 2007 Suite and is also known as the Office Setup Engine. The osetup.dll file can found in the Microsoft Common Files product. The default path for the osetup.dll is c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\office 12\office setup controller\osetup.dll. The file is developed and published by the Microsoft Corporation.

During the beta release of Microsoft Office 2007, many users had issues with the osetup.dll file verification, where the digital signatures were not recognized when setting-up. The most experienced problem was an error message popping saying “X:\programname.WW\Osetup.DLL digital signature does not validate or is not present”. Initially thought to be a problem with the beta versions and illegal copies, the error became persistent even after the final release of Microsoft Office 2007. The “missing osetup.dll” error was appearing even when users were installing from a legitimate disk.

As the error appears immediately after inserting the disk in your CD/DVD drive for setup, there are two methods that might solve the problem.

1) Go to Start, Run and browse to the location where you have the CD i.e. Start, Run and D:\<path where you have the setup for project> | double click on setup.exe

2) Copy the CD contents to a network share and try installing in the local machine from the network.

As this is a problem with the digital signature of osetup.dll available in your current CD, downloading the dll file from a third party web source would not be very helpful. You may try that method initially, but it would be better to try setting up the Office Suite in several computers running Windows and check if it is only in your computer that the error comes up.

If the solution is evasive, you will have to contact Microsoft Tech Support.

Ntmsapi.dll is an essential system module belonging to the Windows “Whistler” version. Windows Whistler is the codename for the first joint business/consumer version of Windows XP, which was built on the Windows 2000 OS kernel for stability and reliability.

The ntmsapi.dll file is associated with the Removable Storage Public Interfaces (RSPI) in the Windows XP system. RSPI are used in Removable Storage Management (RSM), a standard interface in the Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems for accessing removable media. Removable media include automated devices such as changers, jukeboxes and libraries. The RSM was designed to simplify access to media libraries in both standalone drives and in automated devices.

Running on NT-32 systems, ntmsapi.dll is a critical component in Windows 2000 and Windows XP editions. General errors related to ntmsapi.dll are caused by a missing or corrupted file, where a relevant application could not locate the ntmsapi.dll.

Errors and Solutions

1) Remote Access service stops unexpectedly in Windows 2000 - the Svchost.exe and Remote Access service stop responding in an irregular method. To fix this problem, a hotfix must be requested from the Microsoft Support team via this link: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support. . This hotfix includes ntmsapi.dll, ntmsdba.dll, ntmsevt.dll, ntmsmgr.dll, ntmssvc.dll and Rsm.exe. However, the hotfix will only be relevant for fixing Svchost process faults.

2) Windows XP system fails to boot and displays “missing ntmsapi.dll” message – this occurs because the ntmsapi.dll cannot be located anywhere in the system. As it is a system-essential component, it must be available for the computer boot without issues. Login through Safe Mode and go to Start, Run and type sfc /scannow. If the file is actually missing from your computer, the system will prompt for a replacement. Remember to have a XP bootable CD with you before you run the scan.

Originally created and published by Macromedia Inc., npswf32.dll is a Shockwave Flash plug-in for web browsers. The current publishers of the npswf32.ll include Mozilla, Opera Software and Adobe Systems Incorporated. The default path for the npswf32.dll file is c:\program files\opera\program\plugins\npswf32.dll, but some times, it could also be found in C:\Program Files\Browser Name\plugins) or C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash. The npswf32.dll is a file that can be easily copied in to any required folders.

The npswf32.dll has been released in over seven versions in the past few years. There were some recurrent issues with Flash Player 9, where npswf32.dll caused the player and various browsers to crash. The appropriate version with fixes is now available as zip files on http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14266&sliceId=1, although it says it’s supposedly for developers. Reverting to an older Flash Player version also resolves the problem.

In addition to the above, npswf32.dll may also cause excessive delay in loading the system and/or high CPU usage waking the computer from hibernation or standby mode.

Common errors related to npswf32.dll are usually crashes associated with Netscape 7.2 and older versions of Opera and Firefox browsers. To solve these issues there are two methods you can follow.

1) Fix the Browser

Getting the latest version of your browser type will ensure it is able to connect with new plug-in versions of the Flash Player. Switching Netscape 8, Opera 8.X and Mozilla Firefox 2 could most probably solve any problems with the crashing player file.

2) Replace npswf32.dll

If you have an older version of npswf32.dll, which would be available with Flash Player 6 or 8, try replacing the current file with that. Before you do that, keep a copy of the new version. Most often, a simple replacement works wonders for crashing browser players.

Netui.dll is known to cause some problems when browsing the Internet, especially when there is a necessity for running Java Virtual Machine for accessing sites, such as sites with gaming and online applications. To get rid of this problem, the Java Runtime files have to completely removed and reinstalled in the relevant computer system.

As netui1.dll is loaded by the Internet Explorer application, most problems linked to netui1.dll appear when you are either trying to open the browser that is already browsing some web site. All of the common errors are associated with a missing or damaged netui1.dll file.

When you get a “missing file” or “file not found” error, first thing to do is check C:\windows\system32\dllcache to find out if it is there and the system is simply not recognizing it. Make sure it is a .dll extension and not a .cab extension. If it is either netui1.dl_ or similar .cab file, you will need to decompress it to extract the actual netui1.dll. If the file is present and the system still cannot locate it, you may have the wrong version of the file. To correct this, get the appropriate files from the Microsoft Support web site.

The errors can also be sorted out by using the original installation CD used to set-up Internet Explorer and reinstalling the application.

A damaged netui1.dll file can also be replaced by doing the above two methods. You can find out if a file is damaged or corrupted by going to Start, Run and typing sfc /scannow.
